Christin was born on 14.07.1972 in Berlin, Germany. At the time, she was arbitrarily classified as male by some doctor and named Alexander. Even as a young child, at the age of 7 or 8, she noticed that something was wrong with her. She felt like a girl, had female longings, desires, preferences and thoughts. She became very soft and almost feminine in her behavior and appearance. Of course, the bullying was not long in coming. By the 4th or 5th grade, she was already being labeled as a faggot or gay.
Because of all the bullying and the verbal and physical violence she had already experienced as a child, she lost all self-confidence and self-esteem. Her grades at school got worse and her parents began to worry because she was withdrawing more and more into herself. For these reasons, her parents soon sent her to various psychologists and therapists, none of whom were able to help her.
She experienced her first rape at the age of 14, when she was on a 6-month student exchange in France.
At the age of 18, she moved away from home and ended up on the street. She slept under bridges, on park benches or in parking garages for five years. She became addicted to drugs and started prostituting herself as a hustler at the age of 19.
At the age of 23, she pulled herself out of this quagmire, went cold turkey and began an apprenticeship as a retail salesperson. During this apprenticeship, she was brutally raped twice within six months by three men at the same time. Nevertheless, she managed to survive and successfully complete her apprenticeship.
It wasn’t until 2007 that she learned about the terms transgender, transsexuality, transidentity, trans woman, etc. Since then, Christin has known what her real problem was and what messed up her whole life.
In 2015 she began her transition to woman. She underwent hormone replacement therapy, changed her first name and gender entry on her birth certificate and finally underwent her last gender reassignment surgeries in 2018 and 2020.
Since then, Christin has been completely female, with everything that goes with it. She has female genitals and sexual characteristics and is finally at peace with herself. Since then, she has been living her life as a woman.
In 2016, Christin founded the first and only self-help group for trans* and inter* people in the south west area of germany. This self-help group has grown into a large association that has been providing self-help and peer counseling throughout Germany ever since.
Her transition and the certainty that she was finally allowed to be the woman she had always been ensured that Christin regained all her self-confidence and self-esteem. Even better: since then, she has become extremely extroverted, likes to be the center of attention, is often seen on TV or in newspapers and gives talks at schools and universities about bullying, discrimination and the life, the struggeling and problems of trans* and lgbt people.Β
Christin is committed to helping and supporting trans* and inter* people. She is also politically and socially committed to the rights of trans*Β and inter* people. She sits on the federal board of the party mut and is the party’s spokesperson for queer and women’s issues.
Christin has been involved in web development and server administration since 1998.
She learned web development with PHP autodidactically using only the PHP function reference and through try & error. Within three weeks, she published the first APBoard, which then became a real hype.
