2. General information on data processing
This website is a purely static presentation site. No user accounts are created and no forms are offered.
The open-source software Matomo is used to analyze website usage (see section 4). All other scripts, fonts and stylesheets are delivered from our own server – no resources are loaded from external third-party providers such as Google, Cloudflare or CDN services.
3. Server log files
The hosting server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address (anonymized)
This data cannot be assigned to specific persons and will not be merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website). Log data is automatically deleted after a maximum of 7 days.
4. Web analytics with Matomo
This website uses Matomo, an open-source software for the
statistical evaluation of visitor access. Matomo is self-hosted at
matomo.christin-loehner.de – no data is transmitted to
third parties or third countries.
Matomo is only started after you have given consent in the cookie banner. If you reject analytics, no Matomo cookies are set and no Matomo page view is recorded.
After consent, the following data is collected and processed:
- Shortened (anonymized) IP address
- Page visited and time of visit
- Previously visited page (referrer)
- Browser type, operating system and device category
- Approximate location (country/region, derived from the anonymized IP)
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). The data collected is used exclusively for statistical purposes and is not merged with other data sources or used for profiling.
Opt-out
You can object to data collection by Matomo at any time. After opting out, a cookie is set that permanently prevents collection – as long as you do not delete this cookie:
5. Cookies
Matomo cookies are only set after consent. They associate visits with a
single session and distinguish returning visitors from first-time visitors.
These are analytics cookies from matomo.christin-loehner.de –
no advertising cookies.
You can reject analytics in the cookie banner. You can reopen the banner through "Cookie settings" in the footer. The website is fully usable without analytics cookies.
